    Now I see what makes a map have pro quality. Pro mappers hate 90 degree angles and corners, they do curved surfaces, cut here, add a pillar there, girder here, just everywhere where its possible.

    i thought a pro mapper is one who can create artistic beauty, without a performance sacifice (read: better than i am:( )

    For me the hardest part of any map to make is always the texturing process.

    have a look. all 90 degree angles but great game play. eye candy is not everything.
