Well, i was gonna redo one of my older maps because i felt like i could make it better. But in the process of brainstorming I came up with a better idea that hasn't been used all that often. A CTF Level at the bottom of the ocean. However, im not going to force anyone to take a dip (I know how slow and boring swimming levels can be) Their will be 2 dry routes, and one wet... that all intersect at a central area.

Here are some pics, didn't take any outside pics because im not done out there.

pic 1 : the left wall needs another textures, and the some of the pillar's tetures are bad alinged i think, and maybe a bit too much yellow warning stuff
pic2: a bit blocky, try making it cooler, use more 2d shape or vertex
pic3:not bad but i cant really see much
pic4: light is a bit boring an overal, try using more smaller lights with higher contrast, and maybe some more colour

To be honest.. the pics dont have that WOW factor to me.. lighting looks good, but the architecture.. hmm.. i dont know.. seems you used pretty basic shapes in there.. you should probably add more detail to the map. and make it a tad brighter..

I used to be that way too but I found that it added
too many unused vertexes to my brushes.

Now I use the brush clipping tool instead of the 2D
whenever possible. Less BSP errors that way. :)
