Pick the next SG Servers TDM Event

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. Next Monday Night we will have another Event night. I have several ideas but, since there is more of you than of me and I want you all to enjoy the server, I thought I would let you pick what we do.

Below is a brief description of each of the ideas I had. If you have your own idea, feel free to respond.

Note that I need at least 20 votes overall or I will just pick one myself.

Game Type

Nade Night: Pretty self-explanatory. Each player will have a loadout of maybe 25 nades and a pistol with 4 clips. I will load InfMicroBulk so we won't all be crawling. CQB Maps only.

Pistols Only: All 4 pistols in your loadout.

P90/551/MP5 CQB: loadout will include all the sub-machine guns with clips for each. InfMicroBulk will be loaded. Maps will be limited to CQB Variety.

Variety Pack: Simply loading InfMicroBulk with no forced loadout so everyone can carry all they want to carry. Need an MP5 for close in, M16 for medium and a Sniper for long range. Feel free. Ever wanted a minimi but full speed running, nows your chance.

As long as you use INF Comic Guys as well, I'm all for it :).

EDIT: Failing that, I'd go for the CQB night. Perhaps it would be better to use WeaponSetup to remove or replace all other weapons, instead of using a fixed loadout. Also, the Sig 551 is not an SMG ;) - you should allow MP5, P90, AKMSU, and M3, and all pistols and nades.

On the weapon replace. The only reason I have not looked at doing that is I do not know all the codes for each of the weapons, etc. Also, if you do weapon replace, what about the attachments for the weapons? Replace those with nothing? Leave them alone.

BTW, WeaponSetup simply rocks. It made Pistol Night a lot of fun!

Okay, to find out what the weapons are and their attachments look at the INF_Loadouts.ini

Copy past the = sign and you will get it all. Weapon, Attachments, Ammo. Once you see them then you can just mix them up the way you want them.

Here is mine at work. There is not a whole lot I have done in my load outs. Perhaps someone else can post a better. But this one will get you started.

Derelan, that is every night. Every night except Monday or those occassions when people vote to enable something like Pistols Only, we just run with the new nades, and the normal mutators for better communication. Did you mean with just the standard maps or what?
