We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Can someone please tell me a few things about Ut2k4 that can persuade me to buy it? What comes with it? What are some fun things about it? Maps? Is it best to buy it from steam? Will it run alright with Radeon x300/2GB RAM/Intel Pentium 4 3.20GHz?

We don't need to persuade you. There are still enough people playing and having a good time. It's your loss not ours.

Having said that, your PC should run the game well if you can live without anti-aliasing. Unless the x300 is some kind of onboard crap, you would need a real graphics card to have 85 fps then.

Those specs should be more than enough to run it at medium to high detail. For a list of things you get with the game, see the UT2004 page on Liandri Archives. As you can see, there are more maps available than you will ever be able to play.

I will persuade you
UT 2004 even if it's similar to its predecessors and mostly with UT 2003 you have additional game mods, weapons and content with
also there is a wide variety of mods / mutators that you can dl and enrich your own game.
It doesn't have the same mods as UT 99 except a few similar exceptions.
In therms of the game by Itself I still prefer UT 99, but for playing mods I prefer UT 2004 since it contain one of my favorite mods called BW, witch I play the most

It's quite simply the best fps ever made.

I have a number of the others (including ut3), but ut2004 is still the most fun.

You can try out the demo online for free - but demoservers are not a very good reflection of how good the full game is (cheats and asshats spoil a lot of the fun to be had).

People are still writing new stuff for it, not that you'll have time to try everything that's out there for it right now.

Finally, it's dirt cheap.

I would say give it a try and I bet you'll like it very much. I have both games, UT2004 and UT3. Both games are installed on my new PC but with the on-board graphics card I can only play UT2004 and not UT3:(.
