PC Action: "utxmp super mod"

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. Who created it?

No doubt! The U2 Addon 'XMP' was made by Legend Entertainment.
Almost the same guys are now working on utxmp for ut04.

When Atari decided to close L.E. we were not the only ones being shocked. Especially the u2xmp fans felt heartsickness because a real community-favorite beared to grave. So much the better was the pleasure when FMI announced that they`re working on a total conversion - even with support of the ex-legend crew.
Is there anything better to do than getting the wrights on work? According to this fact, the result is awesome.
You want to be impressed on your own? No problem! You may get an exemplar and the current patch from our dvd.

Flying in UTXMP might be cool but i am not shure how it would affect the overall gameplay. It is hard enough to hit a raptor in full motion much less a flying vehicle. Maby if the RL alt fire was more acurate against vehicles, but what about the tech and ranger? In UT2004 the only thing that gives you a real chance on foot against raptors and mantas is the avril's locking ability. Maby it could be slightly easy to shoot down with less hitpoints that a xmp raptor? Whatever the case, i would like to see some. Just for the chance to check out how you could jump out of it in mid air, and then free fall, all the while dropping grenades on the enemy's below, only to hit the boost just before you land. yay
