Pay to play

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I see only one solution to people like me who want to make mods with a clean vr of the unreal 2 engine.
1.Developers must register them selves and the mods name
-Login with email address and password at boot.
2.End users must pay/register for the mod they want to play.
-Login with email address and password at boot.
I'm no programmer...yet, but, I do understand that this not going to last much longer unless something is done.

I'm thinking around $10 a mod...

If this were a Go*
Epic would be making a bit more cash to further the development on this clean vr of the engine and... ...?
Mod makers would not only be able to develop for free but we would have a clean version of the engine to play with from scratch.
End Users can play a lot more games with this fine engine and only for a small amount of cash.
So lets say theres 10 mods out right now for this and Joe(the end user) decides he wants all of them, well then, thats a $100 profit right there!
Thats like 10 games for the price of 2.

If the pay per mod thing is not within reason, then I guess a one time fee would be within reason...
