Patch question regarding U2SE

Does anyone know if there's a patch for the "Unreal II Special Edition" version of Unreal II? The version that comes with XMP. The only patch I can find is for the normal edition of Unreal II (v1403). When I try to use that though, it gives me an error...

"Cannot locate Unreal II - The Awakening 01.07.03 on your computer."

So, is there another patch to use for U2SE or what?

The U2 side of it is I think patched to 1403. If you'd like to play XMP, download that from http://www.xmpcommunity.com instead.

XMP came with the Special Edition, so I already have that. When in-game (singleplayer, not XMP) the version number is 2001. Is that the same as 1403 then?

I do know for a fact that the XMP version in the SE pack is not up to date though. And it's way more fun than U2

Wikipedia reckons that 2001 is the newest version, which is probably correct, so you seem to be up to date there.
