passing values from .uc to non-Unreal functions in a vbscript

I have vbscripts launching UE2Runtime.exe and some custom .uc files. I would like to edit my Unreal classes to send out a message when certain game events happen, harness these messages in the vbscripts to be passed on as arguments to other COM functions not related to Unreal. Prob a very naive question, but how would I do this?
