One of many things about UT and Unreal

I never read any library books until I was in grade 5 and my older brother brought home a sci-fi book called "Star man's son". I tweaked onto sci-fi and read prolifically after that. What I enjoy about UT and Unreal maps is the sense I get of being able to "really" go to see these "other planets". That's what playing UT (or Unreal) is about: being in my OWN science-fiction short story, without knowing the ending in the way that you know most single player mode games are going to force you into their version of "the end".

Yes, Unreal had a very sci-fi-ish setting. I loved the way it was set up, with that tower and the crashed ships, very nice.
