OK heres 1 quicke on key bindings

Hey everyone whats up? OK i wish the alias setup was a little more direct like how Half-Life is, it would be easier to understand. Now i'm not trying to bust anyones balls at Sentry, because i'm sure theres a reason why its set up like it is. And I damn well sure it could have been set up ALOT harder than what it is now. But for example...

ALIAS "ThrowGrenade" "Slot0 | Fire | LastWeapon"

ok assuming that Slot0 was the grenades, this command would change to the grenades, throw one, and change back to the last weapon you were just using.
Now I want to do the same thing for INF. I have not been able to do it yet, but heres what i tried so far. OH i have this set up just under a key binding not as an alias yet. i was able to do a few things with out using aliases. 1 thing you couldnt do in HL.

NumPad7=GetWeapon INF_Core.INFc_GrenadeList | Button bFire | switchtobestweapon

But if anyone already knows how to set this up, Could you please let me know how to do this? Thanks.

Oh this is a little off topic for my question, but does anyone know where i can get the new version of UnrealED? I still use win98 and i heard there was a problem with running version 3 on 98....but that there will soon be a patch. I have version 2 of UnrealED and it has no help files to it or anything.
But I would really like to get the new version..I KNOW I can be a BIG HELP in helping to script, map, ect.
Having no help files is my biggest downfall because i dont know any of the scripting commands. I basically understand what the script wants to do, but I need to know the variables or commands to them.

The problem with doing this is timing. You press the key bound to the alias, and it will switch to the specified weapon. However, it will try and throw it before you've completed the weapon switch. This is actually allowed (it will throw it when the weapon switch is complete) but then you've got no control with regards to the distance you throw it (i.e. you can't have an alias hold the key down for a set time). Also, the switch weapon at the end will cancel the fire command if you're in the middle of switching weapons already. So, no, it's not really possible.

This site is a good place to learn how to use UT's aliases. If you want to know about modding, mapping etc., the Unreal Wiki is a good start.
