The format is on the first page (top and bottom, bottom is an addition), but it is sort of confusing.
First, we'll set it up so that instead of the matches being 2 out of 3 they'll be 4 out of 7. Second, if you win 4 out of 7 matches on one of the five maps in the arena, you win that map. Finally, we'll do the same thing on each map in the arena. If you win at least 3 times you move on. Wow. I think that's the best I've explained it.
Boom has a very good point: this will be a very long tournament. It won't just be long...it'll be marathon after marathon. But this should give everyone good practice at 1 on 1 play and help people learn how to rocket jump (which I just started doing...it helps dramatically). Speaking of the rocket jump...
I recommend you practice using rocket jumps in Rocket Arena, esp. online. It's fun to do aerial attacks, and on most maps, like RA-Akuma's first map, it doesn't hurt much if you decide to do it on the top level (though I don't recommend it
.
Do try to practice as much as possible. If you can't play online for some reason practice against Godlike bots with their accuracy turned down. This way, they're very human-like (they actually use the combo!). The only thing they don't do is use more than two rockets at once, but that's their problem.
