If you are having any issues with the upgrade to xenForo please post them here to get them resolved.

Animated avatars, is it still possible?

Yes, sadly. I still have the old data so if we can find an add-on that puts them back we could feasibly restore them. That being said, they really weren't used much.
I made it so they will work (just check out my avatar) however you do have to reupload your avatar to get it going for some reason. It seems like it imported all of the avatars as JPG instead of GIF (and there are somehow animated JPGs on a few pages when you go into them like the avatar edit page).

It may say ".jpg" in the URL, but in my case the data really is PNG and the transparency works correctly in Firefox. Might be a GIF-only problem.

I just noticed a bug, though: The quick reply text area is focussed (I can type into it), bit cursor keys scroll the page instead of repositioning the text cursor.

Bruzz: On the orange master theme when you click "Home", it points to https:// when it should be http://

Yeah, another thing I need to sort out. I added ssl to the forums but it doesn't like the insecure front page :) It's in mixed mode on pretty much every page because of that.

That was Firefox 35.something (whatever was current at that time). Weirdly enough it seems to works now.

Hey Brizz, I've just logged in about four times. Three out four times I used the stay logged in option. On the latest firefox. All happened shortly in a row. When simply switching to another forum page.

Well, it's happened again. Four times in a row. I can't edit the previous post without being asked to log in again.
I have ghostery enabled. Would that have anything to do with it?

Neo: I find it keeps logging me out when I use https. Regular http doesn't log me out.

Thanks for the tip Al. I'll see if it will work for me.

Yeah that did the trick. Thanks again.

Yeah, I'm seeing this as well. I don't have time to look into it yet but it is really annoying for sure.

edit: just FYI I am forcing all traffic to https even though we are stuck in mixed mode. Let me know if this causes any issues.

https here with no problems. I do tick the 'keep me logged in' box though. I use ghostery, noscript and trackmenot.

For me, there are a lot of 'placeholder' type boxes on the screen (see screenshot below). For example, all of the post editing options at the top of the reply pane are just white boxes with some letters inside. When I hover over them a popup tells me what the function is, but just by looking, I have no idea.

The post box is loaded in Javascript I'm pretty sure. Those white boxes are actually displaying unicode values believe it or not :p

I'm planning to blast away the moderation queue by not approving anything at some point.
