Wait, it was just a laser show? No live music?
I mean, I know there was Floyd music playing, but no band right? Just speakers and lights?

Yep. Since it was such a small venue (House of Blues) the music was really loud. No live band. Just a bunch of lights and a few people tripping. They give you these glasses (prisim glasses) and at the start of the show the guy said "You don't really need these glasses, it's just for those of you who may have taken something before you got here" (ie: LSD/Acid for those of you who don't know)

It was fun and all. Not what I expected though. I wouldn't pay $40 to go see it. Maybe $10. Glad I didn't buy the tickets.

That does sound like fun. Although yeah, I probably wouldn't go more than once without some live music.

I asked because I've seen the Australian Pink Floyd twice now when they have come through St. Louis the past couple years. Aside from playing the music live (and they're really outstanding) they try to recreate the whole classic Floyd laser light show on stage. They setup the huge circular projector lined with lasers and strobes and spot/floodlights.

Very cool experience. And about as close as you can get to seeing Floyd perform live anymore.

I hope you're not the jealous kind. She's certainly unmissable in the street or wherever else.
