Man, I was thinking tonight would be a great night to perturb the unconscious mind but somehow I'm just not getting any kind of physiological, spiritual or psychological lift from this whole change of president thing. The last eight years in this country were just pretty much
fraught and sometimes it seemed like Bush, and his likeminded, would be in power forever. Well, at least we can celebrate Norm "these conservative kids don't **** or get high like we do (purity, you know)... Already the cries of motherhood, apple pie, and Jim Buckley reverberate through the halls of the Student Center. Everyone watch out, the 1950s bobby-sox generation is about to take over" Coleman's (tentative) defeat at the hands of Al Franken. It had been a long time since I'd been as happy as I was when the first polling results showed Al Franken with over 60% of the vote in the MN senate race. Probably going to be a long time until I'm that happy again.
