Hi,
All you modders out there, I have an idea for you.
I'm no good at modelling, coding or skinning, so this isn't something I can do.
I love the Singularity Cannon from UT2. If you haven't played it, go and get it. It's cheap, fun and if you cheat for the Singularity Cannon, you can have a lot of fun. Quick info on it, you fire a mini black hole "projectile" which moves slowly forward, sucking up pickups, then dropping them so that they're condensed to a small area whilst sucking in all the enemies in its vicinity, crushing them. Sometimes you can make them orbit the projectile and stretch them before they get crushed.
My idea is for a team of people (modders) to port the Singularity Cannon to UT2004 as a new weapon. I assume some of the meshes and textures are salvageable from UT2, so this shouldn't be *too* hard if most of them had UT2.
I would be willing to put some input into this in the form of packaging the mod with a custom installer (written by me, in VB) and giving ideas (in a sort of "quality control" style way).
Thanks for your time and interest,
Burningmace
