No full screen mode in Return to Na Pali

When ever I play the mission pack, it refuses to go into full screen view. It will just stay at 640x480 res windowed. Oddly, it is set to startup in full screen mode in the unreal.ini file. Any idea why this is? (I'm using version 224v).

I was going to ask this very same question!! I noticed it to, I even hiked up the resolution to 800X(something, cant remember the exact number)... but it still had the bar going across the top of the screen... my question is the same, is there anything that can be done about this?

Also, unlike the original, it seems that when I use my keyboard to turn right or left, it resists a little at first... in the first version, there was no resistance, it simply moved left/right with no hesitation... any way to fix this?

Hey, I think I may have found the answer. I've been running the game in Software Rendering, but when I looked at it under advanced options/drivers, it said I was using 3dfx mode. I changed it back to Software Render and restarted Return to Na Pali. When it restarted, it was in full screen! See if that helps.

With the turning thing: That was added to Unreal in one of the patches. It's supposed to make it easier to aim if you only use a keyboard, but it's kinda weird feeling. There is a way to turn it off, but I don't know how. I'd use a mouse if I were you--it's much better.

I've just started, too. I didn't want to even start a single player game with window mode (it's slower and the window is just so tiny...), but now, I'll be blasting away at Skaarj. After I (hopefully) finish the game, I'll seeya online, dude!
