Okay..I am a total newbie and got Unreal Tournament about 1 year ago but just started playing it 2day. I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to get with me on AIM (TheProfit110) or ICQ (105528063) and help me learn some important tactics that are needed in Unreal Tourney. Learn to use the shock combo!


Fire secondary mode - it will launch a blue ball that moves relatively slowly - then keep aiming to the blue ball and fire primary shock mode. The ball will explode and hit targets in a wide range. Try waiting the ball get close to your enemies.


The flak canon is a interesting weapon too. Its secondary mode is difficult to master, but it's almost as powerful as a rocket, and good to mid-range figths. The primary mode of the flak is quite effective at close ranges, and will hardly hurt yourself - using rockets as melee weapon is not healthy.


The ripper is good to fill a room with bouncing razors - keep out of this room!


Practice with instagib. It will improve your aim for sure.

Centering the view is good to headshot enemies who are at the same level that you are, and headshots cause more damage...

And practice a lot with the bots!

My advice: get good with the sniper rifle, but don't use it to snipe. Instead, use it as you would a normal gun. It can kill in one hit, and the bullets move faster than rockets.
