btw what is the ASUS A8n-SLI? I assume it's the mb, but I understand SLI to mean Scan Line Interleave, which doesn't seem to make sense.

Too bad you didn`t ask, I just got stiffed by a guy who asked me to build him a rig, the forth one now so I thought it was going to be alright, but he cancelled at the last minute. Almost the same rig with a 7800GTX, 2 gigs OCZ memory, DFI NF4, RAID0, DVD-RW, gamer case, etc. I`d cut someone a good deal to get out from underneath it, I don`t need another complete gamer rig just to do nothing but fold@home with it.

with hotcpu, never goes over 49c

could probably get it up to 2.9 but i cant find the threshold for AMD 64 chips



OC'd the gfx card from 470cpu (stock) to 510 and 1.2memory to 1.25 and the card under extreem load (3d marks) reaches around 60c

My X2 will max out at about 2.9GHz on air, 242fsb x 12 @ 1.39v. (doesn`t matter which way I get to 2.9, 2.9 is it for air cooling and my chip)
They heat up and cool off so fast, unless you have the temp utility open while under load you may not see the hottest temp it hits. What do you get for Superpi #s?? What`s the fastest it`ll do a 1m and 32m runs?? Be sure to run two instances at once so as to test each core.
