Heh, I just bought Unreal Anthology a few days ago, and am quite happy with it, I'm planning on using UnrealED for UT99.

UT2k4 seems too -cough- hard for me :)

Now, does anyone know of any good UED 2.0 tutorials?
I'm also interested in skinning, if possible, any tutorials for that as well?

Just shoot all the best tutorials you have at me, I'll try to read them all :)

    Thanks in Advanced.

    there are alot of tutorials

    this is for UT99

if you want to map for UT2004 be sure to read the tutorial at Architectonic.

and for UT3 i should watch the videos at 3dbuzz wich also has UT2004 video tutorials and videos for other games.

    Well...

UT2004 editor is alot more complex... its just like UT99 but has a lot more detailed things and a somewhat good editor for UT2004 is:
    http://architectonic.planetunreal.gamespy.com/first_level.html
UT3 editor i cant handle even a bit... its WAY too confusing! Haha, so yeah, good luck with it...

I usually make maps on UT99, and if I forget anything, I use Squaky, then I open up UT2004 editor also, and try and remake the map on UnrealEd 3.0, and just add a few more details (probably alot more :p)

    So goodluck!

Haha  ok! Well good luck, I thought so too, and I have only made 1 map for UT2004, where I have made plenty for UT99 cause its so simple and doesnt look bad without details! ;)

doe anyone happen to have a backup of this site ?
    http://www.planetunreal.com/squacky/tutorials/UnrealEd-Tutorial9.htm

it says "site has been suspended" even googles cache give's this message.
i backed up the architectonic site for things like this to happen but not this webpage.
never would have thought a website could vanish of the internet so suddenly.

I recommend also starting to learn to make your own models or textures. Even with an easy-to-use tools.

You can make cooler stuff and you will have more fun doing so.

UT1 you say? Here's one I made for noob mapping, and there's a walkthrough at the end of it to start your own map (unfinished, but useful).

    Google? Use search? :)

If you haven't found anything in two weeks, ask again, and I might give you a few good links.
