Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

We are just toying with box/connection at the moment. It has been up for load testing and is by no means final. I believe the CPU is the main thing holding it back now and I understand that it's due an upgrade. If we ever get the thing on track we will be sure to make you feel most welcome.
I for one would like to offer my genuine thanks to *Toxic for trying to provide the XMP community with another (much needed) server and EQ² for his invaluable help so far.

someone tries to help the comunity by getting a new server running and this is what you tell them....riiight :/
its true it has some ping issues, but i'm sure they'll be cleared up, and then again, you are known for whining about the ping in every ****ing server.
so your whining about this new server really doesnt mean much

According to some checking I did out of boredom. Peering seems extremely poor. That could cause the ping issues.. Server is somewhere in NY state?
I am getting 20 hops to the server through 4+ different first tier providers from the Bodymore/DC area. Comcast > ATT in NYC > AOL back in DC > alter.net(MCI?) in NYC> Some other network that seems to go to both charlotte and Miami in intermediate steps before hitting SUNY-Syracuse(????) (Last set of hops past alter.net seem very suspect or incorrect for location.)
If you guys fixed that, I might actually bother playing again. I'd love to see a good server go up that didn't drag me through the seriously overloaded ATT pipes going through Atlanta like the craptastic Xenotech peering does.

Excuse Ala, his sarcasm is still lacking. As Detta said, an upgrade is on the way, and Peering is hardly something any of us are in control of, so it will remain as it is unfortunately. I do hope to see the server getting a good run every so often, it'll be a shame for Tox to waste all that time and effort on an empty server. The Rotation has been hand picked as well, so now no one can really complain about the unfortunate and torturous quantity of maps from XMP's Hall-Of-Shame. Much love for all of your kind comments, and check out the new Master Server as well! There are installation instructions on DCSB's Website.
From an old Beta player to a friend I battled numerous times . I thank you Detta and Omni for giving everyone another server to play on . Good work !
