New maps on my server for tonight!!

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I just uploaded the newest (and test) maps on my server :) Here is the list of maps I added that should be on for the burnout tonight:

uwrc_furrowdashrally
uwrm-torpedo
uwrl_craze ...if it ever finishes downloading off craze's slow ass server.. ;)

I believe all the maps are final except for craze's map and I suggest you start downloading it now cause it takes like 30 minutes to DL it from him and he wants to play test it so I doubt its gonna go any faster for downloading off my server (as I dont have URL redirect ready yet). So enjoy the new maps and get them in the editing section so your ready for tonight or whenever! :D

Ok... Craze's map is now on the server too. It also apears the master server is down so im not sure if the server will show up untill it is working again. In any case... if it does not show up.. here is the info to just manually connect tonight :)

hey alright i got my map up, and its not my fault that my upload rate sucks, blame verizon, how dar e they call this DSL ( :eek: 90kb/s down 15kb/s up :eek: )

On a side note... the lag issue lately is being worked on. I spent over an hour on the phone with the ISP doing trace routes to find the pattern of what node was causing (and is causing) the lag at certain times of the day (when the node has a lot of volume). They SAID I was not the only one with the issue and the info I got for them was very usefull and that they are supposed to send out engineers this week to upgrade the node. However... in doing a trace route on my own today I discovered another node thats also lagging this up.... Gerrrr. :mad: Hopefully this will all be fixed soon!! At least on burnout nights and afternoons / nights there is really no lag. Just in the evening hours on weekdays. Sorry.. but its out of my hands at the moment. :(

good to hear it being addressed. I was on the server tonight with a n00b and lag was so bad we had to switch servers. I'm going to d/l XMP for a test run (was his mod of choice).

Ya... its really pissing me off as Unwheel is not the only game I host servers for. Not to mention.. if its lagging .. so am I ... so I cant play online either. :mad: :( Hopefully by the end of the week this is resolved... or someone is not getting thier money for the month (meaning the ISP).

humm lag, i have only had lag on your server once, but there was alot of people, and it only happened in one map(UWRC-RedPlanet), but i thought that was just my internet being crappy (as always :) ) glad you are working on fixing it.
