It works if you copy "http://www.angelfire.com/ak5/duke96753/" and paste it in your adress bar. Now go there and add "CTF-INF-Vietnam.zip".
Angelfire does not allow direct links so you have to be on Angelfire.
Btw. could someone move it to Developement? I think there it fits better.

Important: Do not copy InfAdds.u into your folders or whatever, there is a newer version existing.

I don't think that there will be naming issues as it is CTF-INF-Veitnam.
It reminds more of unreal maps as the setting is not really "INFish".

Yeah it was a UT map but I made it in to a INF map, Me and my friend made it a long lime ago.

BTW: you are welcome to upload it to Combat Maps, Because I have dial-up so it will take a long time!

That brings back memories - wasn't there a map with Infiltration 1.5 (or something - it was still for Unreal 1) called "Battlefield" that looked shockingly like CTF-INF-Vietnam?

If it's done, this is a fine place for it.

As for the map, I felt the will to live drain out of me every second while I played it. It doesn't even pass for basic UT quality, let alone INF quality. What exactly did you do to 'convert' it? Rename it? As far as I can tell, nothing 'inf' was added to it, nor inf-exclusive made for it.

All in all, I say it's "terrible". It's no "DM-INF-SubtractedCube", but I'd say it's a "My First Map" quality. Keep trying...after 3 years of mapping, that *can't* be your best work ;)

I didn't want it to say the way Keg did it - because who needs a flamewar --> pointing at other threads by the same author - but I am thinking the same.
I tried one newer map for TTR allthough and this one is looking good, it uses many textures and concepts, like the bunkers ..., from AH's LongestDay but it is nice.
Ok, as I read a few minutes ago it wasn't his map, he just "finished" it.
A suggestion for you Duke_103 stay with moddeling, you are way better there, considering the moddel in your sig, than you are with mapping.

This is not, by any stretch of the imagination, an original map. This was rotating the UT servers a few years agol, when I was still playing the original UT online.

on remaking....

the teleports (realism!) are kind of cool; bot support is not...

Classic ut ctf map remaking is not easy, and it did not work too well here....however, remaking a classic ut99 assault map into an effective infiltration map would be very difficult--after all, the size and speed of the infiltration character is smaller and slower.

Simply put, AS maps seen as "good" for 99 might not prove to be good in infiltration. One would have to remake a map that not only contains few if not any hammer launches / team launches, but also multiple attacking routes. That type of style was not terribly popular among classic ut assaulters, so therefore remaking ballistic or one of the riverbed series would probably prove fruitless.

Size and speed seem to be the downfall of this particular ctf map as well... :(
