New Map Ideas (Take Note People!!!!!!)

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. I don't know about you, but I like the idea of teams starting on opposite sides of a level. Then I think, why not have more levels like INF_DeathField?? It is a perfect example. Anyone out there designing levels should make em' like that. It allows real teamplay in order to win.
I think we also need a few more bases out there also. try to mix the two. Two bases at opposite ends of a battlefield. VOLLA!!!!!!!!!!

Funny you should mention that Steel I have a map in the works, should be done in less than a week (famous last words). It is a jungle type scenario with teams on opposite sides of the map. Each has their own base with weapons medkits etc. There are/is ammo around the level but you are mainly based and thats where you get your support from. Of course the idea is still to blow the crap out of all the enemies.

Doing that, I can't think of any other way to make maps. Why would the attackers and defenders be hanging around together in the same area, don't get it. All my maps have player starts at each end, team based of course.

My new map is a chemical plant which has been taken by terrorists, making it to have classic support, but attackers (swat) start with the cd. The cd is used to disarm bombs strapped to chemical barrels on the bottom floor. Should make for fun.
