UE2 - UT2kX Need little help from a modeler

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Hello!

I acquired a 3D character model from one of my aquitances and I really
wanted to make it as playable character in Unreal Tournament 2k4.
Unfortunately, I lack the skills with 3D Studio Max and Unreal Ed to make it happen and so does my aquitance.

I can also try importing the model for a different modeling program if you
are not using 3ds.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to just ask. :)

what kind of model is it? a standard biped or something more extravagant?

if it is a standard biped, is the model in a standard T-Pose or something else?

I am not an expert but if it is a standard biped in a T-Pose I may have time to look at it...depends tho

If biped means two-legged (if i recall) then yes. Sadly, not in T-pose.
Her hands are on her side.

Ok. Ill take a look at it and decide. How do you intend on sending it? If you go ahead and upload it, just export it as a .obj with the texture map in .tga or something, or if you have polytrans or something you could export it for Maya.
