Need help

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. Everytime I bootup, I get this Window Protection Error, and I have to restart my computer. I mean, just now, I had to restart my computer 4 times before it booted up.

Some other times I get this message,

Error while initializing IOS:
Windows Protection Error, you need to restart your computer.

Help me please!!!

I have the same problem on my 5 year old P90 machine. It seems to happen mostly when the computer is "cold" forcing me to reboot usually once to correct it. My new machine works fine... /~unreal/ubb/html/smile.gif

However, a friend of mine had the same type of problem on a newer machine. Tech support told him to reinstall Windows and see if that corrected it. It did for a short time (not sure how long) and then reappeared. It turned out to be his motherboard "died" and had to be replaced.

I am not saying that is necessarily the problem you are having, but I just thought I would throw that out.
