UE1 - UT need help with tactical ops editor 2.0

    im trying to make a map that is going to be rather large and will include assets from a lot of maps with tunnels and possibly teleporters for toma\monster factory im using to aot 3.5 community patch for this.

    what i need help with is copying and pasting content between maps as i cant seem to figure out how.

    copying and pasting is a bad exercise since the process keeps the same Object's value and might conflict your build. It also tends to leave a lot of gaps between all objects/actors.

    It is best to export the map or the specific part you need to a t3d file and then import it into the main map. Doing it this way allows you to manually correctify all the objects/actors by opening the t3d file as Notepad or Wordpad. It does take a little longer but the result is better and cleaner.

    I accidentally worked out how to export t3d files before I saw your post. But thank you any way. now my editor crashes when I build the map. Too many polygons maybe???

    mine used to do that a lot also until I increased the cache size in UnrealTournament.ini.
