We are looking for a historian to help us develop a napoleonic war time simulator who has an expertise knowledge into the weapons, tactics and events during the napoleonic war.

Applicants should:

  • Have a good knowledge of the period
  • Be able to speak clear english
  • Be willing to put some time and effort into clear research

The modification will be a total conversion most likely for unreal tournament 2004. I apprecitate that this may not be the best place to find historians but if anyone knows any other places I might find one - please post!!

Thank you all

Equinox

Devils Own Napoleonic UT2K4 Mod

Hi Equinox,

Great minds do think alike.

We are also developing a Napoleonic UT2004 mod.

Check it out at:
devilsown.ecatalogpages.com

We may want to consider combining our efforts.

Sincerely
James

As it happens I'm a bit of a history buff-I have a knowladge of the period as well as modern European history in general (and yes, modern includes Napoleon....honestly, you'd think europe was only 100 years old with you lot....) and all matters military.
You can contact me either through MSN Messenger or email at arthurkrupp hotmail.com (just put the @ in to keep the spam bots happy....)

I just wanted to say that on behalf of probably most people regularly checking the "Mod Recruitment" forum, I applaud this.

This is a first, and I'm seriously happy. Usually, when a mod team is confronted with the fact that there's another mod team out there working in the same direction, they either try to ignore them away or they break into a flamewar about who's having the better concept.

I wish you well, and I hope your (combined) efforts will soon bear fruit.

:)
