Mutator not showing up

I just installed Weaponstuff for 2k4, and it's not in my list of muts in game. I've checked several time that i had all the files in the right folder. but it still isn't showing up. whats causing this?

dang... i was hoping that wasn't the problem. Is there a way to uninstall the patch without uninstalling the game?

I don´t think there is the easy way .I´m sure the patch is overwriting some existing files .I don´t know a way to delete the patch and the game is running fine.
I think you have to uninstall the game and install it again . :(
