Wha?
Cloverfield

My brother and sister took me to go see this last night...

I don't care what you've heard about it; this movie is damn good.
If you've heard that it has made people sick because of the motion of filming while running; that much is true. Even if you're not sensitive to motion sickness, there are a couple of spots that will make you wince and look away, but all in all, it's not that bad.
I've also heard people complaining about the monster itself... and all I'm going to tell you about the monster is; go see this in the theater while you have the chance... if you've never had the opportunity to stare down one of your nightmares, this could be a good opportunity for you.
I'm far from squeamish, and I could feel myself pressing back against my seat, a semi-conscious, instinctive feeling to run, pressing at the back of my mind.

I highly doubt you will get that feeling while watching this at home, unless you've got a pretty damn big screen on your tv, and a good surround sound system.

That's another thing; if you're sensitive to loud noises like me, be warned... this is easily the loudest damn movie I've ever seen.

I'd give it 4.5 *s... and it loses 1/2 a star because it starts a little slow.

Is it like the Blair Witch Project? You know that was filmed in the woods right down the road from me. :)

Haven't seen to many in Theater Movies, usually watch them on Netflix. Spiderman 3 kinda sucked.
Next: Really a pretty good movie.
Stardust: I liked it if your into those kind of movies.
Mr. Brooks: Excellent Movie
Resident Evil: Extinction, 2007: Pretty Good

It has similarities... it's filmed from the viewpoint of a guy named Hyde.
I thought the character's name was Hud?

Spiderman 3 was OK--it was better than 2. I love watching Sam Raimi films just to find the continuity errors. Oh, and Bruce Campbell is always in them. :)
I liked Next--great concept.
Stardust was a lot of fun. It's worth watching just to see Robert DeNiro in drag.
Haven't seen Mr. Brooks yet. My one hang-up is that Dane Cook is in the film.
Still haven't seen Resident Evil: Extinction. Gotta hit up the Redbox sometime soon.

I wouldn't say that Mr Brooks was a great film, but it certainly was an interesting film.

Ice - Are you crazy? Spidey 3 better than 2? What are you smoking?

Wha?
I try to grade each Spiderman movie by how well they adapted the villain.
So with that in mind;
Spiderman: 9/10
Spiderman 2: 9/10
Spiderman 3: 8/10

Personally, I thought Sandman exceeded expectations, but Venom... well, Venom was just sad.
And as far as the whole Peter goes psycho emo; I loved it.

I have no interest in seeing anything Kevin Kostner does. He's scum, and I hope Richard Gere shoves an exploding hamster in his ass.
