I'm looking into modifying the process of importing a character in a FBX file and saving it as a .UPK. My goal is to have a stripped down UDK.exe that will take a .FBX input file and spit out a .UPK that can be loaded into the engine.
The package information and name of the static mesh will be constant.
Any ideas how this could be done? Where I can start? And if this needs the commercial license?
