    You must have got it *before* I updated it. Snake reported to me you had an issue and I tested it [and was able to connect]. I can only assume you grabed it before I updated it.

    There have been a number of releases lately [and updates to them] so it was hard to keep up with them. However, I believe it is updated correctly ATM.

    Anycase, please PM me when you run into that again. This will allow me to address the issue *faster*.

    We'll I've finally had a chance to play the new INF MOD TEAM weapons pack and I must say wow. This makes the INF arsenal feel absolutely complete. Any other add-ons are really just gravy.

    at first I wondered why everyone was griping about the MP5A2 but after playing I realized how different it looked.

    Personally, I really don't mind the look of the mp5. The only gripe I have with it is it seems out of sync with the mp5k as the mp5k seems to dwarf it when they should be relatively the same. (or not correct me if I'm wrong there Bush). However.. I still use it the most out of all the weapons. That and the m4 with carrying handle..... purre sex!

    Mod team you guys rock and keep up the awesome work. Now all we need is a Rainbow six "terrorist hunt" game mode and we're good to go for the offline players :D

    I guess that the database loss will mean that the AKMS release will b postponed? BTW is it actually an AKM or a AKMS? just curious.

    Remember that the modteam isn't getting anything out of this other than the pure satisfaction of making INF weapons. On the whole scheme of things, it actually sounds quite meager ... :p Anyway, my point is that they have all the right in the world to release it whenever they want, or not at all, since it's been an entirely volunteer-based project. Hm, kinda sounds like the INF Team, actually, and maybe that's why their responses are the same. ;)

    We're currently beta testing, bug fixing, and even adding some extras to it. There's no way at all of estimating how long it will take.

    Well i ain't gonna b rude like NTKB, but the ModTeam should get our attention, coax us into expecting that its almost ready, then say WHEN ITS DONE! , that just really sh!ts me off. :mad:

    On a nicer note, some screenies would b good so we could c whatit looks like, n would u b able to tell us whether it still has that GL, what other attachments, n does it come with an optional Drum mag? Cus i really wanna do something like that opening bank scene from the movie SWAT :D

    While I do understand that the mod team's not bound by even the loose definition of a tight deadline that exists in the general modding community, and I realize the members have lives (hell, I said I was going to get on a sound pack, and with classes starting, my life's been too much of a mess to really get into that), I have to loosely agree that it is somewhat sloppy to announce a semi firm release date, confirm it, and then not follow through with even much of an explanation.

    ...I swear to Allah, if you ever mention to movie 'SWAT' again on these forums, I promise you, you will have AIDS when you wake up the next morning...(that's twice you've mentioned that movie, shame on you).

    Anyway, it would be nice to have some things fixed in the next update. For example:

    -The 'floating hand' animation for the Micro Uzi

    -The safety toggle for dry weapons

    -Model / Skin fix for the MP5

    -Zero 'bulk' for the Reflex Sights - unless there's something that prevents you from doing so? (come on, a carry handle is less 'bulky' than a reflex sight?).

    -A more detailed 'flip-up' sight for the M4. This was blamed on 'polycount' a while back (when the 203 and 'masterkey' (ugh) were still being planned, IIRC). However, with the introduction of the carry handle, we can now see that the polycount wasn't really an issue with just the gun. It would be nice to have it updated to be more circular, rather than just an octogon.

    -'Attachment shuffle': Right now, the M4A1 has the scope, while the M16A4 has the laser aim module and no scope. Why? So people can't 'scope-203'? Is there no other way around that besides just not creating a scope?

    -M4A1 foregrip + collapsed stock configuration for CQB. If it's possible to do, it would be nice to modify the M4A1 for different conditions.

    -Increased taclight brightness. As it stands, taclights are pretty lame right now. Not very bright at all. It would be extremely cool if they could actually cause some sort of 'blinding' effect. However, they do need to be a little more bright than they currently are.

    I doubt that most of these suggestions would ever be acted upon - but I pray that you make the second one a reality.

    Engaging the safety on a dry weapon is rather redundant, and often times, causes you to die.

    Jesus cracwhore, i mentioned it in 2 different forums, both of which are relevant (just bout the same topic now), n its a good movie, theres lots better, but still pretty good, anyway i mention it cus i would love to run around with one of those AKM's with some drum mags. (however, i just realised that drum mags might make the AKM into a bit of an uber gun for some, n will probably b abused :nag: ).

    I think the M4a1 Foregrip was originally planned cus on the old Mod Team website, for the Weapon Pack 1.1, there was a pic of the M4a1 with attachment, n the foregrip was one of them.

    Definately need to up the brightness of taclites, its just so annoying to switch a taclite on in a dark room or alley, n the light still doesn't make much difference.

    But i doubt they would scope the M16a4, its got enough attachments (n if u wanted to scope-203, u could use the M16a2)

    As for the MP4a2 fix, i think they sed just after they released WP 1.1, that they wouldn't fix the model/skin, as it would require too much work (reskinning, animating, etc).

    But there is nothing wrong with asking. ;)
