    Dust looks a lot better. Also, have you removed the fireball explosion? There really isn't such a thing in real life. Just a thick cloud of debris.

    Looks like a huge step in the right direction...keep it up.

    Make sure you use Chris Dohnal's OpenGL.dll driver in your System folder.
    All sprite effects may look like squares with the default opengl driver.
    If that doesn't work, it may be the mip maps and I'll re-import the textures without them, though you'd think a GeForce Ultra would be able to handle that. Ghetto.

    It's the mipmaps most likely. I have CDohnal's latest driver. It usually turns pixelly when I blow up a bot. Sometimes it turns pixelly if I throw it far away. I don't know why.

    Nope, still happens. I did some investigative trials for you Duke and I found the problem. Try to disable bIfLowFPS or another similar variable in the smoke code. I've never had Squares with Yurch nades or even your black smoke nades. I came to this conclusion because I went to the training map, tossed 15 nades, set explosive ammo on and MinFPS to 30. Bam, I get an awesome fireworks show and squares. Then I repeat the experiment with MinFPS set to 0, and presto, I get a fireworks show, but with your dust smoke. Hope it helps!


    Edit: By the way, shooting a ring of 15 explosive grenades is super fun! I know it's not "realistic" for ammunition to explode violently when shot, but the effects are dramatic and beautiful!

    Why isn't this activated on the EAS server? I'm so sick of 'fireball + blacksmoke' nades... :(

    Nice and dusty without any pixel clouds in sight. :) Good work! Was the cause of the problem some errant variable setting like I hypothesized? If you could share with me the solution I would be much obliged as it could help out in future 'eye candy' related projects.

    Hey Duke, whats that map that u tested the frags in, in Post 20? Is actually a full map, of a testing sorta thing, looks kinda cool.

    N share that AK u got in ur Loadout, next to the AKMSU, we want it to!
    At least tell us if its any good yeat n when i MIGHT b ready.

    Hey if its a Beta, i'll test it. :D

    Just finished DL the new Nades, they are SWEEET! :) but its a pitty the Shell Shock is gone, i liked it, but the nades need a bit wider damage radius,

    Keep it up, looks like it is finally finished.

    Duke I tested your newest nades online last night with UN17, and I must say, everything is perfect except for the lethality. Its now currently needed to place a nade within 10 feet (3 meters) to wound someone, and even closer, like 1 meter to kill instantly. I suggest adding a bit more shrapnel to the effect to make it alittle more lethal at closer ranges and gives a better chance to damage out to its danger area of 100 meters. Otherwise spot on job.
