Mission Critical Pack

Its my pleasure to announce the Mission Critical Pack.

The Mission Critical Pack (MCP) for UT:XMP takes its name from a game of the same name released by Legend Entertainment in 1994. Currently, we have 8 maps in development and are looking for more, as well as any fun mutators we may find.

The release date for the MCP has not been set, but it will be sometime after UT:XMP has "gone Gold".

Xaero is well with in beat down distance from me....I don't think he'd risk the physical harm if freefall were included.

*update* It has come to my attention that xaero is not reponsible for any inclusion of Freefall...May ghonorea eat your soul to the one that is responsible.

I'm pretty sure someone said something about working on a FreeFall conversion for release shortly after UTXMP was made public... I want to say it was Xaero or TheJackal, but I could be wrong, so please take what that with a grain of salt...

Freefall = most underestimated map of all time. It was great! Not so great now that my RL xhairs have gone all funny and dont show the locking on bits, but still great

That is one of the things that makes Freefall one of the greatest maps ever... the ability for a gunner to fly across the whole map in 2 jumps

Unortunately, I pretty sure it doesn't since UT2k4 doesn't have the particle system and hence particle based flamer that U2XMP has. TBH, I haven't checked yet as I'm currently waiting on movement tweaks to UTXMP itself to dial the gravity in.

The carnival turret is the one in Freefall OR Minos..
