I've visited the beta 2.5 server a few times over the past couple of days, but only found an opponent twice. Despite the sparse action, I have several comments.

Bugs, or possible bugs: (1) When I pick up the AT4, it is not available in the weapon rotation. (2) I was placed in Red once after I tried to join as a Blue. (3) I was unable to break out of the shotgun reload cycle by pressing the fire button, a pesky delay that was on the 2.5 fix list. (4) I didn't encounter any of the pesky phantoms, but I hope the ghost problem (where you have to "kill" the ghost before the game will end) has been fixed in 2.5.

Suggestions: (1) The M-16 is a fully automatic select fire weapon, so why lose the full auto selection to add semi-auto? Semi-auto is always available (just don't hold the fire button down and you only squeeze off one round). The M-16 is one of my favorite weapons in 2.1, but in 2.5 without full auto it loses much of its effectiveness. Your aim must be perfect to get a kill. If the change was because of the amount of recoil, I don't think that's a problem, as it can be controlled well, with a bit of practice, with the mouse. (2) Lose the shotgun flashlight and replace it with shoulder position/crosshairs. (3) Make shoulder position/crosshairs available with the rifles (and the shotgun, hopefully) while the alt fire button is actively held down. In real life it takes some effort to hold that position and squint down the sights, so why not in Infiltration? In practice, I have been stalking with the weapon position left in aim anyway, and I imagine that's what everyone will do, so I'm not sure what was gained with this change.

All in all, I really like the new 2.5!!!!!
