Could anyone point out to an application that can convert .md2 (Quake 2) or .md3 (Quake III Arena) model format to .3ds format, to edit and then import to UT? I would be glad if you can post any links. Thanks in advance.

If you haven't yet got them out of the .pak file you will need something like arjfolder to exract them and then you could use lithunwrap to save them into a different format-or you could use milkshape 3d, but I think you may have to re-do all the animations

U can use winzip to open Pak files, and even once u have got the apropriate models out of the pak it will be hard work getting it unto UT.
cos Q3 models are made up of the legs, torso, and head(all spearate models) and i dont think UT supports a mesh being made from separate models. so once u make it 1 mesh, u then gotta animate it.
