MCP website is now up!

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Looks very good indeed, just hopes that "gold edition" is enough to get UTXMP pumping again.

The MCP should hopefully be the UTXMP equivalent of the U2XMP CBP. We're trying to round up the best people possible to put out the best possible material. The current people involved have all released quality content for U2XMP. Hopefully, we can find some more people with an eye for quality and good/fun gameplay to add to this further and make it even better. TheJackal and I are even including 3 pieces of familiar yet improved content for the U2XMP veterans (Baptism is actually a significantly rehashed and rethemed version of LastRites.)

BTW, we are looking for more content.

Why don't you just ask for a mapping forum here at the FMI forums? Splintering the community with seperate forums seems silly.

I'm all for FMI having a mapping forum. I'm just trying to give people a reason to come back to the site and want to help us. ;)

Overly large (in filesize and map size), filled with holes, more concerned with appearance than gameplay and 100% unsupported?

well, we actually plan to atleast play the map with a bunch of people BEFORE we release it....you know....testing and what not. and from what ive got and seen, they won't be all super big. nothing more than Garden anyways. Apperaance and gameplay are here. Except for Corina, which is I think mainly a visual experience, and of course we WILL support our maps with a 34C cup bra.

I'm really glad you guys are doing this...

However, and please don't flame me on this...

I just hope that most of the screenshots are from beta maps. None of them are very visually striking to me. I don't know if its just the image size, map progress or detail settings, but they just look kinda bland...

I don't think its a problem in the long run though, we know you guys are capable of quality stuff.

p.s. - where be the freefall?

OMG! FLAME2U!!

Anyway..yeah..none of the maps are done yet. What we have done we spent a lot of time working out the flow and gameplay of the map more than visuals. The details on my map screenies are kinda low. We aren't rushing to finnish this. We want to make sure everything is done. (or as close as possible;))

ZOMG!!! HI2U!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Take your time guys. I've gotten quite used to waiting on the good stuff *cough*UTXMP*cough* *cough*CBP*cough* *cough*Flag Pack*cough* *cou.. Ahem.

ANYWAYS, any plans to recreate some of the old U2XMP mutators? I'm glad to see there's going to be some good stuff coming post-Gold... whenever that is

OOooh ooooh pick me! Pick me!

Well I'm learning UnrealScript and mutators... Or I was before I had to leave for CA to do an internship. When I return home (after GDC) I'd be willing to look into porting something like ArtifactPowers for you guys provided I can get Raptor's permission (I think he's the one who did it).

We need people who can code mutators in order to do that.

The website is the topic of this thread. I WAS planning to stumble few a through a few mutators BUT help would be a major plus, even if it just meant us learning to together, as I refuse to bug CaptainKewl 24/7 and delay the next UTXMP patch. Talk to us!! Permission from CBP sources is PROBABLY not an issue, TBH.
