    Well spooge, I may not use it any time soon, being that I'm affraid of the power of 3dmax. But if I one day get the balls to use 3dmax, I'll love you for this:) It may be the thing I need to start using max. Thanks a lot man.

    Hey if you guys get a ued-max converter with texture alignment ill love you for life :D
    Anyone that can create geometry in ued, and has a copy of max could have nicely aligned textures. but you already realized that :)

    Hey TerOmen... I expected your screens to be a terrain or something. it's pretty cool either way. I'm just happy to see people using it. Oh, I talked to the programmer about a utility for going from T3D to something like 3DS... he said it would be a real bugger but that we could maybe talk some more about it. I guess we'll see.


    And nice tree McMuffin! you should get the process down for creating unreal U filetype decorations... that tree would be great as a deco!

    Yeah :) that is just beautiful, and works like a dream.
    It even converted my 20590 poly Cuthulu for fun, but the Editor gave up on the render :) If I'd of had this gem a year back, well who knows

    I tried it... it's really great to see a perfectly textured curved thing in UED. I did the "knot" shape from MAX. It came out perfectly! ...until I tried to light it in UED ofcourse. Then it looked horrible... but that was to be expected from UED. Somehow it knows how to light a cube perfectly, but it freaks when it sees a twisted, curved, high-poly knot :) Anyone know if the next gen Unreal engine / UED has better lighting for this kind of geometry?
    I also did text in MAX and imported it.... perfect!
