Is there a way to recreate a new announcer message ? I mean, is it possible to record one's own voice or someone else's and process it such that it sounds like the original announcer voice on UT99 ?

The Mutator is an IstaGib Mutator...the weapon can fire a reflective shot that can kill multiple enemyes..and the combos replaced to time slowing combos(slow motion combos for reducing the game speed to : 80%,60%,40%,20%)
And also you can do headshot with the shock beam :)

Yes and No

A human voice has certain characteristics to it and each of our voices is fairly unique.

So yes it is possible to redo an announcer mod and use your voice to make it sound "similar" to the original announcer.

You will have to study how the original announcer speaks and try to imitate the length, reverb, tone and pronunciation. Then you can add or adjust it a little an audio editor like Sound Forge or Audacity.

It will be hard to imitate the original announcer, and even after alot of work, you may only come close, and I bet people will notice the difference. Make sure you use a quiet room and a good microphone to eliminate noise.

Good luck
