Looking for Invasion 4 UT

I found Invasion mod for U1 here, but unfortunately download link for UT version leads to "Error 404" page :(

Anyone have this mod somewhere on his HD and can reupload it?

Many thanks, in advance, for help

I have this already, but this is version for U1, not UT. I know that some U1 mods are UT compatible, but I don't know how to run this one on UT (method described in readme doesn't work).

Try the Monster Hunt mod for UT. I forgot what site is on but you should find it on Google...
I know that mod and I playing it a lot last time (on alienclan server, sometimes on DU), but ... i want this Invasion mod :>

I know there is also Monsterspawn which is similar to Inv, and Zombie killing grounds (by BC) which is very similar, but there are zombies not monsters (and it overrides model/movement settings).

I see, that I should ask author (Dots) for this mod (or post on more forums for this mod) :)

Anyway, thanks for the help =]

Boom_Boy made one for UT99 (one of the best modders for MH and writer of the code for UTJMH). The file and mod name is called AreaCode.u and you could find it at the UTJ website or his own website. So far, I cant find a link with Google but I do remember uploading the compressed file into GameServers' redirect.

I have all the files and all but I'm not sure if it will be ok of me giving it to the public without his permission.

I have bad luck, but all websites are down:
http://utj.xebra.org - down
http://utj.xserv.biz/ - down
http://ut-lity.cool.ne.jp - down (file areacode_build27_non_umod.zip)
:(

Hermskii, I see now there was two versions of invasion4ut and nobody know about it.
http://www.geocities.com/mhulden/olddownloads.html
http://translate.google.com/transla...1112925/ut-lity.cool.ne.jp/areacode/index.htm

War_Master, I think, if you have version which was avaible to download on his page, he shouldn't be angry if you re-upload it somewhere (yeah, i know that my English is very poor)

Thanks in advance

This int works, though it's not complete. I just wanted to see it and we played it a couple of games. Worked server side and everything. Save this as: AreaCode.int
Code:
[Public]
Object=(Name=AreaCode.AreaCodeGame,Class=Class,MetaClass=Engine.Mutator,Description="AreaCode!")
Object=(Name=AreaCode.AC_InvasionGame,Class=Class,MetaClass=Engine.Mutator,Description="Invasion!")
Object=(Name=AreaCode.AC_BaseMutator,Class=Class,MetaClass=Engine.Mutator,Description="Invasion2!")

Object=(Name=AreaCode.AC_InvasionGame,Class=Class,MetaClass=Botpack.TournamentGameInfo)
Preferences=(Caption="areaCode",Parent="Game Types",Class=AreaCode.AC_InvasionGame,Immediate=True)

Object=(Name=AreaCode.AC_InvasionMapList,Class=Class,MetaClass=AreaCode.AC_InvasionMapList,Description="Default Maps")

There is an ini file too. Save this as: AreaCode.ini

Code:

Grab the areacode.u from a redirect or a couple of postings in these threads have them too. It's a ok mod, well done but just too much like 2004 for me. Oh, and if you play around with it, don't use bots. You'll get spammed with log errors.

No, it's a mod called AreaCode. Look for the .U file in some of the public redirects, it's around. The maker seems to not want it used so I will not post the mod. It was the int and config files that were missing, I just went in and rebuilt them from the code.

Works perfectly :) Link to u file was given above by Azura (you need to decompress it)

If you pull code on the U, there are a couple of other gametypes in there too. Meatbowl was one (something with cows I guess). I just didn't fool with it, but if you want I'll create lines for those too.

I thought a guy named zeal made UTJMH.

Zeal and Boom_Boy are personal friends and Boom_Boy is the one that knows coding a lot and did most of the work for utjmh. He dont really care if his friend takes all the credit since everyone in their community know that BB is the one pulling those mods but Zeal does most the work on it anyway.

Before the utjmhv3 came out I talked to Zeal and Boom_Boy to add the Redeemer2k4 mod in their server which was later added to that version instead. I wasnt so happy that they imported that Redeemer because it looked really bad. Besides, they didnt ask Wormbo for permission for adding that script and everything else and I kinda feel guilty for requesting the Redeemer2k3 in their server because they just went and took it and claimed that they did all of it themselves.

I know that they went off using other mod's scripts into utjmh with or without permission from their rightfully owner and I do know that the regen system comes from the ExcessiveOverkill mod. What I do know is that AreaCode was made by Boom_Boy completely and he did a good job with that script except for the bots and the missing configuration menus.

11. Editor and End-user Mods.

(a) The Software includes an editor and associated tools and utilities (the "UnrealEd"). UnrealEd is a really cool feature which allows you to modify the Software or to construct new variations for use with it. These modifications and variations can be both playable and non-playable. UnrealEd is NOT shareware. You may not freely distribute it to any BBS, CD, floppy or any other media. You may not sell it or repackage it for sale.
(b) Using UnrealEd, you may create modifications or enhancements to the Software, including the construction of new levels (collectively referred to as "Mods"), subject to the following restrictions:

i. Your Mods must only work with the full, registered copy of the Software, not independently or with any other software.
ii. Your Mods must not contain modifications to any executable file(s).
iii. Your Mods must not contain any libelous, defamatory, or other illegal material, material that is scandalous or invades the rights of privacy or publicity of any third party, nor may your Mods contain, or be used in conjunction with, any trademarks, copyright-protected work, or other recognizable property of third parties, nor may your Mods be used by you, or anyone else, for any commercial exploitation including, but not limited to: (a) advertising or marketing for a company, product or service.
iv. Your Mods shall not be supported by Atari, Epic or any of such parties' affiliates and subsidiaries, and if distributed pursuant to this license your Mods must include a statement to such effect.
v. Your Mods must be distributed solely for free, period. Neither you, nor any other person or party, may sell them to anyone, commercially exploit them in any way, or charge anyone for receiving or using them without prior written consent from Epic Games Inc. You may, exchange them at no charge among other end-users and distribute them to others over the Internet, on magazine cover disks, or otherwise for free.
vi. The prohibitions and restrictions in this section apply to anyone in possession of the Software or any of your Mods.

(c) We just LOVE the idea of you using and distributing content or script from any prior Epic Games, Unreal franchise game in Unreal Tournament 2004 Mod. Therefore we grant you a license to use content from any prior Epic Games Unreal franchise game in your Unreal Tournament 2004 Mods. For the sake of clarity you will not gain any ownership whatsoever in any Epic content or script nor can you use any Epic content outside the scope of the rights granted here. Any attempt to do so will bring about the wrath of our attorneys.
