Howdy, this might be a very simple problem, so I'm hoping someone can offer me some suggestions.
In the basement where my good computer is I've got a wifi card reaching all the way up to the router on the second floor. Needless to say, this causes me to lag quite a bit while I'm gaming, possibly due to the poorness of my router.
Now, aside from obvious fixes (hard wiring the connection, buying a better router, etc) I was wondering if someone could offer me some ol' fashioned networking wisdom that might help me lag less.
Eventually I'll need to replace my router, but since Xmas just ended money is a tad tight, I'm sure you understand.
