Listen Servers

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Ok I'm trying to set up a listen server for INF, and I click the net play button, have the server configs and info ready, and I click launch. I'm in the game with a 0 ping, which I should have. So I'm waiting and waiting, and I finally press escape and go to the INF browser. I look for my server in the list but it's not there...so I look at the server button and click advertise server...but it's still not there. Do I just need to restart the server and it'll show up on the browser, or is it that I just can't see it because I'm hosting? Or...does advertise server have nothing to do with listen servers... :confused:

Never mind...I feel un-coagulated

Hope that's a word...I know coagulate is...anyhoo ignore the first post it turns out that in my LAN the firewall is turned on AND cannot be turned off. So I'm stuck unless I yank the fricking computer cord outta the router and reattach it directly to the comp.
