Its called RDRAM... yeah I know... wierd. Says that its PC800... which is prolly better than that PC100 SDRAM I have...damn. Time to upgrade AGAIN! /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yes, and it's quite expensive from what I've seen. I think it comes standard with some of the higher end Dell machines.

I know!

I was flipping through some new PC catalogues that arrived via snail mail today and saw the new 1ghz Athlon rig that Alienware is offering... I was going down the list of components and thier respective prices "...1ghz processor... $800... ok not bad, next... motherboard with fan and 300 watt supply... $120... ok, cool. Reasonable price... next. 128mb RDRAM... RD? What the hell? 128mb RDRAM PC800... ok, yeah right whatever... $989.95... WHAT?!?!?! Wait a sec!" That was my initial reaction... the next thing on y mind was "I MUST HAVE THAT MACHINE!!! (insert evil laugh here)!!!"

Price Tag? a cool 8 grand... no problem! lol /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Okay Computer Geeks, listen up. Oh man, this reminds me of all the yuppy kids rushing out to buy Win2000 cuz they thought it was the next 9x. EEEEEEEnnnnnyways. RDRAM IS in fact SLOWER and MORE EXPENSIVE and LESS EFFICIENT that SDRAM. DO not waste your money on them. Also, I've heard the Gigahertz proccessors are like way unstable, but I can't confirm this. I'm waiting till the COppermine breaches the GHz barrier for I shell out bucks for one. **** Athlon.

SPooKY - Co-Webmaster of The Redeemer. Did you hear me, I said Co-Webmaster. Thats right. Co-webmaster. Co-webmaster of the Redeemer. That means I'm the CO-Webmaster of the Redeemer. Co Co Co. I'm Co CO for Co-webmasters!

Me LOOOOVE Dell long time!

Whoever designed the Dell Dimension series of PC:s must've had idiots in mind. Cause even an idiot could not go wrong in setting this baby up. Even I managed to get it working! /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
It's a P9+ with 128 Tb powersource and a lot of other gizmos and gadgets.
