LEVEL DESIGNERS - Echo Zones, how?

Any map makers out there know how to do echo zones?

I need it for an Urban InF map I'm making, got and underground carpark.

Recognition for any assistance will be made.

Sorta figured this out a a year and a half ago. Later found out thats the way the Unreal guys did it.

Add a zoneinfo. And look for something called reverb. Mess around with the +gain and +delay, this will give you that echo effect. But make sure you use Zoneportols so it will lock that echo in places you want. Or you going to hear echos througout your level.

Thanks, but I had kinda figured that already.

I was wondering what the settings should be like. Delay and gain settings?

I am not a map developer, but I would think that the that these settings would be dependent upon your room size. Since nobody but you knows the room size, they can't give you the settings. I would look for a map with echo in a similar size room and check the settings there.

Yeah I thought of that, but I don't know of any maps that have echoes in them...

Anyone know any at all?

There is one Unreal map I can think of that has an echo in it. The SP unreal stage right after ISV-KRAN deck 1 that has the 2 titans in it, I am pretty sure that is the one because I remember picking something up and hearing it again, thinking, enemies can pick stuff up? Later my smart butt figured out it was an echo.
