Late Joiner Options

Hi all,

Can anyone give me a quick answer on what to do if I want late joiners to be able to jump into the TDM game immediately, without any waiting? Do I just uncheck the late joiners option in the webadmin tool or do I need to do something else?

Still not working. Basically, I want to set the server up so that anyone can join and start playing immediately at any time. Since the server is TDM, there is not much use keeping them out.

Also have another wierd thing. Every time the round ends, I get a message saying the score is tied and next score wins. Then the game seems to go on until everyone is dead. Is there any way to control the overtime features via the INI or webadmin?

Tried unchecking "Check later joiner options"? If it still messes up your game, uncheck everything and set the time limit percentage to 99.

I tried that as well. I unchecked everything except for "Check Late Joiner Options" and tried setting the time limit to 99. It still happened. Then I tried setting the Time Percentage to 99 and it still happened.

Any more ideas?

umm.. did you restart the server? sorry, no offense intended.

None taken. I did tech support for years so I know how it goes.

Yes, I did restart the game after applying the new settings. I have also completely ended the server instance and restarted it.

I will play some more on it tonight and see if I can narrow it down further.

if "Check Late Joiner options" is unchecked within the used webadmins template then the latejoiner stuff is totally turned off. Do not forget to 'save' the template and then to apply it to 'change' the game and restart it on the 'Current Game' page.

Well, I tried that again tonight but I am not sure if it worked. No one joined the server. Not many playing TDM right now. EAS has the majority.

I will post again if it does not work.
