Larger muzzle fire

I would like to see a mutator or a way to increase the size of the muzzle fire.

I really like the muzzle flames in the game HALO, they are almost as large as the guy who's holding the gun, very cool, especially in multiplayer.

Doesn't seem that difficult too me (but i might be wrong of course /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

I'm constantly amazed by how many people seem to think Infiltration is like other mods that have no grasp on realism.

Well, the example of a muzzle-flash as big as the guy holding the gun is an example.

All i'm trying to say is that it would be nice to be able to change the size manually. In other words: add or remove a compressor if you want to.

A compressor is in most cases quite important. But i can think of situations where you don't need one anyways.

It's a bit too much 'arcade' though....

Jesus christ, WTF kind of loads is THAT guy shooting!? Must be some lower-quality powder in those M1 carbine loads to have a muzzle flash like that. Reminds me of shooting surplus Yugoslavian ball out of my M44, had a muzzle flash like that.

Bear in mind almost all military rounds these days use smokeless propellant that is treated with some sort of flash suppressant. Usually a carbonate of some sort, reducing the flash signature is, as you can imagine, a very important aspect of military ammunition manufacture. Not so much with sporting ammunition.
