When you see a fusing greande at your feet, in RL you have 2 choices: Run or throw it/kick it , no ?

What do you thinks guys about having the possibility to kick it. Because if you are out of stamina it is better to kick it than to run away (or die of course).

Kicking small such objects as handgrenades far is quite hard at times, just try it...

It would only go a couple of meters, maybe thats long enough, maybe not...

And picking it up and throwing it sounds so much more effective. Then you can throw it out the window it came in, not just kick it in the wall half a meter infront of you

3 seconds don't give you much time to do it...

If a nade was lying on the street kicking would be an option, but when it's in the sand it won't come far... picking it up and throw it away should work always.

(adding a baseball-bat to a loadout should be considerd to...)

Maybe even get a baseball glove so you can play catch with a live grenade

I agree catching and throwing is more effective but kicking is faster !

3sec is not enough to catch it. But for a kick... It could save your ass from shrapnel !

    Well personally...

... I think I would be too scared ****less to kick a grenade. Even ingame, the first thing I think about in INF when a grenade rolls my way is:

    a) Running where it came from and fragging the bastard who through it.

    b) Runnning the hell away from it (the farther the better).

    c) Seek cover with shrapnel-proof cover (pretty much anything that is solid)

I don't know many soldiers with the "courage" that is needed to pick up a grenade and throw it back. Although I remember Medal Honor (anyone play that?). Soldiers picked up grenades and tossed them back to you. I used to shoot their arms when they picked one up; they just dropped them to there feet, at which point they exploded.
    :boom:
Hehe I am such an evil bastard :D

you give up on our suggestions DarkBls? theres still 2 more...
I played alot of descent3, and one of the popular weapons in it was the impact morter (big, 5 second bomb that could clear whole rooms)
So, ive kinda spent alot of time near timed explosives. 5 seconds is more than enough to do something about them. kick, throw back, ect. (unfortunately, in d3, touching the thing caused it to go off immediately. oops)

Day of Defeat (a halflife wwii mod) allows you to pick up grenades (by hitting use key) and tossing them back again. I really liked that feature, so you could for example throw the grenade back at the enemy or have a second try at hitting that window. Of course they could also explode in your face if you weren't fast enough :)
