Keg O Whoop Ass?

I could have sworn there was a mutator by this name. It was a replacement for the Big Keg O Health. I remember using it when playing offline a few years ago. I have googled, searched download sites... Nothing!

Does anyone remember this mutator at all, or am I imagining things?

Thanks. New problem. I have the .U and .INT files in my UT2004\System folder, but the Keg O Whup Ass doesn't show up in the list of mutators to select from. Is there something else I need to do to get it to show up?

Because there is no int in there, you would need to make one yourself and correctly reference it...someone was being lazy (the mod author obviously).

He said there *is* an INT file. Plus, it's UT2004, you don't need to edit your INTs any more, there is auto generation.

The log will have more information about what's wrong.

I dwnloaded the file and there is no INT, check yourself. Yeah UT2004 doesn't need int, but it does need certain reference file as well and it couldn't generate it for my little UT2003 mod anyway, so there. In fact I didn't know it generates automatically for some mods, it's first time I hear that.

Here's a Pastebin of the first page or so of my UT2004 log. If you need more, I will provide those in separate Pastebins, as the entire file is too large for the site to process.

See those "Warning: Failed to load" messages? I highly recommend solving them by either removing what failed to load or adding what was missing so it could load. It will make UT2004 faster to load. But the important part is from the line "START MATCH", so paste it from there.

...also, I remember Pastebin allowing longer messages, weird.

Leo, UT2003 needs ucc dumpint to be executed. And probably Exportcache. UT2004 needs Exportcache as well, though, even if it generates a (half-baked) ucl file automatically.

You can write it yourself if you know what to reference and not use ucc dumpint, but yeah. Exportcache? Never heard of that, what is it good for?

Thanatosaurus, there's something definitely wrong there. Try this: open UT2004, go to Deathmatch, select DM-Rankin, press Play, press Quit Game and post the whole log then.

Leo, ExportCache generates .ucl files which are mandatory for the game to register mutators, voice packs, announcer packs and gametypes. You can open UCLs with text editors as well.
