I'm in the US air force, living in Japan and it is a major pain to find servers where I can ping below 400. I've got dsl, so if there was something local I should be able to play alright.

I know there has to be some people playing UT2004 in this country, is there any way to find their servers so that I can actually play online? Thanks.

Ehm...Did you try ordering your server browser on ping settings?
Oh, and remove any filters, if you have them installed.

There are a few servers in Tokyo, I think. Look for Tokyo-to Server3, usually Onslaught.

That tokyo onslaught one works well, thanks. How do they have so few servers here? Did the game not get released in Japan?

Kenji: Yeah, I love it here. Went to the fuji rock festival, but that's it so far.

Japan has a very script control over firearms, this has led to a large increase of Airsoft companies in Japan, and Airsoft venues. So most are out playing with these, than gaming. Plus the computer system is completly different in Japan, there are two forms NEC pre builds and DOS/V systems (afaik).
