Here`s a question for ya.
Has anyone here ever used Unreal tournament (or jailbreak) to help learn something?
This game has taught me where keys are on the keyboard, where every button has a taunt or use which helps me remember. Recently its helping me learn Latin names for tree speices.

With Ut, its makes things easyer to associate and remember things, like using "Loque" and "Tamerlane" bot configs for names you struggle with. (we all know they will kill you at some point  ) As their names pop up on screen, i start to remember which "tree" is on my team and which "tree" has some growing grudge on me (picea wants me dead because he sucks :) )
Anyone else learn something this way?
note: dont bother mentioning that my screenshot is assault level, not jailbreak and dont say "i`ve learnt not to point flak cannon to my face" because i wont believe you

Since I began binding my keys for UT, my speed with typing has increased about five- to tenfold. And now I can actually touch type pretty well. So yes UT has helped me learn.

Actually I am not really surprised. I've spent so much time figuring out my binding setup that I kinda had to learn to touch type so I could play. Finally I found my WERD setup and things have improved even when typing reports.
