Jagdtiger Reskin: "Kit"

I'd noticed there was a few Cat girl models kicking about, notably Jagdtiger and the Felina reskin, but all of them had clothing that ranged between skimpy to near non existant

Anyway, I have some experience doing models and texture art from other games, and I figured out how to reskin a UT model by myself easily enough so I thought I'd try a reskin.

Anyone got any suggestions to throw into the mix? - Shall I maybe do a variant with a different fur colour/pattern set, any tweaks to the armour and outfit I could/should make? Any furry flames ?

I havn't gotten Hide's permission yet, so I'm not releasing til I get into contact with him, though I havn't found any way to do that yet, I rather hoped I could find him on these forums.

I decided I'd go ahead with my idea of adding an Irbis (Snow Leopard) variant, most likely two (Being sister's in their Bio for those who give a damn what the Bio says) - here's one of them:

I liked how that came out. In case you've got a keen eye for detail. I left the eye and eyebrow untouched from Felina, who I used as a template to reference the skin from. I couldn't do any better on the eye than TJ so I pinched that - sorry

I really like what you did to the hair.

Something I noticed is that your armor is looking a tad "low" detail. What texture size have you used!? Normally for skins it's 1024x1024 pixels and giving skinners great ability to create small details, which seems to lack on your armor in my eyes.

Else this is a new look on the "cat-fetish" and it's looking good. Really like the new theme on this model.

Also you should make a specular shader for the armor it would make the overall look way better I assume you've seen most of Hide's previous works!?

The skin is 1024 x 1024 on the body (512 x 512 on the head) - I could probably add more detail like knocks and scrapes - I'm coming from a background mostly doing models designed for 3rd person rather than 1st person. The biceps and upper breast is rather plain, could uses some overlays to break it up, and some extra detail.

The body armour does have speculars, though the most recent secreenshot they've been removed, likewise for the hair, while I'm working on the textures themselves.

Most impressive. I likey. With them in uniform akin to the Thunderclash team, they could run around calling themselves Thunderclaw.

How about making a Necris from a Siamese? And to make it cooler, have parts that are decaying/battle damaged. Like show some teeth and jaw underneath the face.

Necris are players brought back from the dead, therefore undead/zombies. Might as well add that touch, especially with the recent resurgence of zombie movies. Ooo... Neko-ris...

The Rex: How's this? - I added some more grunge to the main armour, added nicks and scrapes, and added a couple extra armour plate edges, or and changed the neck for a poloneck type thing.

Lei Hng Wei: Necris Neko? - Combining necrophillia and furries - lol XD

Just curious guys, have you got any suggestions on how to take/make good portrait pictures? - I don't mean all the fuzzy stuff like actually making it, but i mean like how to get a good picture of your character in a decent pose.

Looking better when I see it's texture. What playerskin detail do you have on your pc?
You should look in the tutorial section for LOD settings before you release this. It's small and easy and if not set correctly it can get annoying for medium/slow performance pc users. Just a heads up.

Femmina has full body armor. Also, Felina and Elektra are more clothed than most of the other Cats. I like them all regardless of what they wear, actually (just so long as a "nude" cat is never made ).

I still like your Cats a lot, though! I've had them for quite awhile now.

You can never have too many kitties in "UT 2004". (Same with Necris.)
